Two promising up and coming comedians at the Pavilion
Comedy Club Landmark Pavilion, Ilfracombe Friday, March 12
MICHAEL Fabbri and quirky young Norwegian comic, Daniel Simonsen, headline the Landmark Comedy Club tomorrow.
-

COMIC: Michael Fabbri.
Described as extremely sharp and hugely enjoyable, Fabbri rapidly earned a reputation as one of the most promising up and coming comedians on the circuit, having appeared in the 2003 final of Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny?
With a dark and honest approach to some of life's more touchy subjects, Fabbri manages to effortlessly slip between harsh, controversial topics to light-hearted silliness, making for a refreshingly eclectic act.
Providing the support on the night is the unique Daniel Simonsen. This young Norwegian comic may be relatively new to the scene, but his dry, deadpan routines and social awkwardness have made him popular with punters and promoters alike and secured him the title of So You Think You're Funny? 2008. With a certain quirkiness and keen observation skills, Simonsen is one to watch for the future.
Comedy Club promoter and DJ Wendy May rounds off the evening's entertainment with a set of funk and soul tunes.
Tickets: £7. Box office: 01271 324242 or visit the website www.northdevontheatres.org.
