Monday, July 06, 2009, 10:00

THOUSANDS of music-lovers turned out to enjoy the first of this year's Eden Sessions.

More than 4,000 people streamed through the attraction's gates near St Austell on Saturday night.

Top of the bill at the annual event was Leicester-based band Kasabian, with support from The Hours.

Despite warnings of scattered showers, the weather held out as both bands thrilled the crowd.

The next concert will be held on Thursday night, featuring Razorlight with support act The Maccabees.

On Friday night, Paul Weller will appear on stage supported by Florence and the Machine. The rest of the line-up includes Oasis, who play on July 14, and The Kooks and Ladyhawke on July 18.
