“ Can't recommend Han Court Fremington highly enough for it's absolutely divine Cantonese and Peking cuisine. It's a truly elegant, comfortable restaurant, with great soft mood lighting. The food is delicious - really fresh and beautifully cooked. The staff are very professional and friendly, too. Make sure you reserve a table as this restaurant is very popular - I have previously been turned away without a booking on a weekend. Han Court also has a specialist seafood menu. Easy to reach just outside Barnstaple, head straight down through Fremington village on the main road and it's on the right. Lovely setting for it in the pretty village. Allow around £30 a head - it's pricey but well worth it so go on a special occasion such as a birthday celebration or Valentine's day. In better weather why not walk to Fremington Quay to take in the view and pick up an appetite before you dine? ”

quality food with a price to match
“Han court is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants however this is mainly due to the quality of the food which is delicious, (i recommend Cantonese chicken) however its slightly pricey and the service isn't as warm and friendly as other restaurants as other restaurants i enjoy going to. the take away is quick and slightly cheaper, but i would definitely recommend a visit as the atmosphere is lovely and its authentic inside. ”

Best in North Devon?
“Up until 5 years ago I had never heard of Han Court in Fremington, but in the last 5 years I have had enough of their Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style to last me a life time. It is absolutely delicious! The restaurant has a lovely decor and the staff are always polite and provide a service with a smile. I really do think this is the best Chinese in North Devon.”

“The Han Court chinese restaurant also has a separate take away which we often visit. If you telephone your order through you can usually get straight in the car and collect when you get down there!

Dan is the proprietor and if he is chef of the night, you are in for a real treat.
When eating in the atmosphere is friendly and the service excellent.
There is a separate banquet room for conferences, private parties etc.
