“ unfortunatly, tescos would have been a far cheaper and much tastier option!!! The meat was tasteless, the sauces bland, the naan wasnt even peshwari (pasted in chutney, decorated with 2 or 3 raisins and a sprinkling of coconut), the popadoms hard and plasticy and the portions not generous in comparison with other curry houses. The price of a takeaway for two = over £23!! all in all a bad experience. would not recommend. ”

“The welcome was good I met the owner Janet who told me all about some of the special dishes. They lived abroad and founded the restaurant in Ilfracombe over 20 years ago so they''ve certainly stood the test of time. Inside its a small traditional looking curry house complete with original 70''s style wallpaper and carpet. The food is great and the portions generous. Everything is prepared fresh - and you can tell, its not suprising it has a ''Curry Club'' award.”

“Well established, longstanding award-winning restaurant run by an English family. The town was in mourning when the father had a fatal accident abroad a few years back but the quality continued thanks to his sons talents.
Plenty of choice. Specials board. Interesting Indian themed decor. Comfortable seating, compact and cosy. Staff are happy to spend time discussing the various dishes and a chat about local affairs.
