“ Not bad but most of the good reviews here are probably by people who don't know any better. The competition is hardly fierce in North Devon. I had Spaghetti Alla Pescatora (Spaghetti in tomato sauce with seafood) and it had crab sticks in it!!! Yes the manufactured ones you buy from Tesco. Also, the pizza was made on a thick base that was bought in, Pizza Hut style. It certainly wasn't fresh pizzeria style pizza made with dough and thin base that you get in Italy or even London. Seriously, you folk should try an authentic Italian trattoria or pizzeria and then we can talk. Sorry to spoil the party but you guys are Italian, you should know better. ”

“Giovannis in Boutport Street serves up some great tasting and authentic Italian cuisine. The pizzas are especially good, but if thats not to your taste they have a wide selection of other dishes. Service is prompt and attentive and the meals are very reasonably priced.”
