Cup ties called off

​THE BAD weather is affecting North Devon's football clubs for the third week running.

This afternoon's Les Phillips Cup first-round ties at Bideford and Ilfracombe Town have both been postponed.

Following a 10am inspection at the Sports Ground, Bideford's clash with Chard Town was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.

And after heavy rain in the last 24 hours, Ilfracombe's match against Longwell Green Sports is also off.

Barnstaple Town are due to visit Calne Town this afternoon.

Appledore's match at Totnes and Dartington in Carlsberg Peninsula League Division One (East) has been postponed.

South Molton Rugby Club's home game against Totnes in Tribute Devon One North and East is also off.
