Hindes wins Saunton Sands Swim-Run

IAIN HINDES won over the long course in the Saunton Sands Swim-Run.

In heavy rain, competitors faced a 1,500m swim in the sea and 2,800m run.

Hindes' total time of 52-43 was two-and-a-half minutes faster than second-placed Jon Irwin.

Scoob Lark won over the short course, with Holly Sherborne and Laura Butler winning the team event.

Jack Sherborne and Matt Bull were the fastest team over the long course.

The event was hosted by Saunton Sands Surf Life Saving Club.
