Robson set to enter Pro-Series Barnstaple
The 15-year-old British number eight took part in last year's Barnstaple Open, three months after bursting on to the national sporting scene by winning the junior title at Wimbledon.
Robson was knocked out in the first round but by appearing at the Tarka Tennis Centre she entered the world rankings for the first time.
Since then she has been travelling the world, slowly climbing to number 330 in the world.
Robson is understood to have confirmed she will appear in the Pro-Series Barnstaple tournament, which will start on Monday week.
Her world ranking would normally see her take part in qualifying at the beginning of the week, but she is expected to be given a wildcard into the main draw.
New US Open junior champion Heather Watson, from Guernsey, is also likely to be given a wildcard, with the player list to be confirmed on Monday.
With world number 64 Tatjana Malek and number 78 Monica Niculescu withdrawing, Russia's Vitalia Diatchenko is now the highest-ranked player in the provisional list, at number 116.
The leading three British players will all be absent.
Reigning champion Anne Keothavong is out of action with a knee injury, Elena Baltacha will be attending a family wedding and Katie O'Brien has opted to enter a tournament in Japan instead.
British number four Melanie South is the leading home player in the provisional list.
Tickets are available from the tournament website, by calling 01271 377701 or in person at the Tarka Centre, Seven Brethren Bank, 9am to 5.30pm.
Visit www.thisisnorthdevon.co.uk on Monday for news on the official player list.
