MAKING A SPLASH: Action from the Xmoor Enduro Club's Winter Meeting at Fullabrook Farm.
Despite streams turning to rivers and the mud getting deeper, North Devon teenager Richard Tucker won the main Championship race.
Jon Hinham and Nick Life pulled two minutes clear but by the third lap, Hinham, who had travelled from South Wales, was trying to dry his bike out after a dip in the river. One lap later, Life had lost his clutch lever.
They were passed by quietly consistent Tucker, an 18-year-old from Bratton Fleming.
Hinham gave his all but could not catch Tucker who took the win by 46 seconds as the weather forced an end to the race after two-and-a-half hours and eight laps.
In the best of the weather, Daniel Richards, from Chard in Somerset, won the hour-and-a-half youth 125cc class race, completing nine laps.
Dylan Baynton won the 85cc class, also on nine laps.
Organisers would like to thank the marshals who did an amazing job keeping the race running as long as it did.
All proceeds from the refreshments, run by the Squires family from West Down, will be given to the neo-natal clinic at Derriford Hospital. Landowner Nick Tucker will present money raised from the event to Devon Air Ambulance and Cancer Research.
